Seb A cosmic mammoth tramples on worlds while breathing life into the void. The changes of tone in the singing on Gears of Despair are the best rendition of a blackhole collapsing deeper and deeper on itself. That track was my entry point to Slomatics (thank you, oh great Weedian) and I'm never leaving, crushed to hyper-doom slow mo particles. Favorite track: Gears Of Despair.

Darknight Slomatics have created the ultimate cosmic doom album, every song seems to blast you into the black hole abyss called the atmosphere. Great album from start to finish. They never disappoint. Favorite track: Telemachus, My Son.

David Maund Sounds like Celtic Frost and Melvins at their doomiest, very cool! Favorite track: Beyond The Canopy.
Crypt Guard

Crypt Guard Slomatics' music has a current-like quality to it, a steadiness that provides assurance despite its outlandish vibe. A constancy reminiscent of the ebb and flow of the tides, like forces of nature, Slomatics keep the riffs rolling while they paint vividly grand sci-fi landscapes into one's mind. Their take on heavy music remains un-matched in heaviness and atmosphere and they have reached a whole new star cluster with "Canyons"

Reek Of STOOM The Heaviest element on Planet Earth! This album should come with a Richter warning... Favorite track: Gears Of Despair.

𝔩𝔬𝔲𝔡-𝔮𝔲𝔦𝔢𝔱-𝔩𝔬𝔲𝔡 𝓓aemons of amplification. Downtuned devils. Hellions of heavy. Slomatics fulfill many an infernal specification but the bottom line remains wide and wild on any given seismograph. Tectonic riffage that at once seems to originate from both a cold, distant galaxy and the Earth's burning core. Favorite track: Telemachus, My Son.

about

Slomatics Belfast, UK

Formed in Belfast late 2004, Slomatics have developed a singularly identifiable style. Fostering a sound that soars at least as much as it crushes. A sci-fi backdrop casts a duly futuristic theme around which their material is based, and as they offer lumbering tones and massive, wilful slogs of doomed riffs, they complement that grooving clarion with a sense of space that is all their own. ... more
